A Grave Situation

This game was made for Brackey's Game Jam 2023.1
The theme was "An end is a new beginning."
From depths of the Earth where the Void was spawned, a sorcerer named Abbadon rises… Thought destroyed a millennia ago, but they survived by hiding in the Void itself. Through terrible magics and rituals, the Cult of the Void brought them back to finally achieve its goal and sin: Immortality. We must make an exception. We must fight fire with fire. We have only one chance to survive this. We must raise the Lost Hero.
A grave situation is a metroidvania lite with a motif of death and resurrection. You play as a fallen warrior, named simply "The Hero", brought back by Death to fight a threat you had slain once before.

nice game, some controls (for example A to run) could be explained.
but now I'm stuck.
Made it to the magician with the forcefield, got his forcefield open,but apparently didnt hit him fast and hard enough.
as the forcefield came back and the amgician jsut flew upwards off screen.
and now I'm stuck in the boss room.
the 4 spikes are back but no matter how often I hit them, they no longer die.
guess that's the end then? :-/
You should also check in general cause enemies can get stuck in walls.
one skeleton was on a small platform, tried to move and got moved inside the wall.
funnily the skeletons and amgiician move and multiply inside the wall :-/
Yeah the code is a bit spaghetti really. Got a bit to ambitious and ended up having to rush. We'll learn from that for next time. Thanks for the feedback.
